Advantages of using Nano Peroxide  for  Soil and Groundwater contaminated with any Petroleum Hydrocarbon:

Injection is performed through 1 to 1¼ inch holes in soil or paving. Soil and paving resealed at end of day with almost no disruption of lawns.

The number of points installed is 5 to 20 injection points per day depending on soil conditions, access, and depth of treatment needed. There is no limit to the depth that is treatable as long as a well or injection point can be installed to the depth.

Process will continue bioremediation for up to 6 months if necessary.

Petroleum odors eliminated within minutes of injection or application.

Oradel Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination below the garage, corner of the house, yard and driveway. Nanotechnology Points were sealed into garage floor which provided a sufficient seal to permit treatment under the house as well as the trees and shrubs along property line. Site closure was filed 6 months later. NFA issued.

Parsippany Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination below the deck and beneath a dense layer approximately 11 feet below ground surface. Both push probe and trench application of Nanotechnology required to achieve closure. Filed three months after last application. NFA issued.

Parsippany Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination extended beneath the home and beyond into yard. Angular injection Nanotechnology  was used to eliminate need to drill through floor of home. Clean up results all below standards three weeks after treatment.

Medford Leaking UST caused extensive heating oil contamination removed by excavation under and around home except for area under chimney. When local lake nearby was drained to allow work on dam, the remaining contamination spread back under the treated area. Nanotechnology (Nano-Ox or Nano Peroxide) was used to complete treatment under the chimney to prevent additional recontamination. Clean up results 2 weeks following treatment showed non detect for all volatiles and Total Reportable Petroleum Hydrocarbons were all well below standards.

Middletown Nanotechnology used to clean leaking UST caused home heating oil contamination extended under the residence into back yard. Two injection locations were inside the residence through the cellar floor. Additional angular injections were place under the deck in back and under the residence from the back. One location under the floor showed high levels of contamination @ 4 weeks but all clean up results were below standards by 8 weeks.

Rumson Leaking UST caused home heating oil contamination beneath the residence, under the driveway and under the neighbor residence. Excavation was completed between the residences and on the neighbors property, a recovery trench and an infiltration trench were installed down gradient and up gradient respectively on the subject property. A pump and treat system was operated for a period of time and then a surfactant addition made to enhance the recovery. Nanotechnology in the form of Nano Peroxide was injected through the existing wells. Two treatments were required.  NFA issued

Kinnelon Leaking UST caused home heating oil contamination limited to area around former UST and slightly under the residence.  Results were below NJDEP standards at two week sampling event. Groundwater showed non-detect results for VOCs and SVOCs. Property uses on-site groundwater well and septic system. NFA issued.

Hainesport Leaking UST caused home heating oil contamination extended to 23.5 feet. Deep clean up results were below standards within two weeks, the shallow results taking four weeks to reach objectives.

Piscataway Pilot Study performed to demonstrate ease of application, free product treatment, and speed of clean up. Free product in monitoring well in middle of test area had shown up to 3 inches of oil. Two weeks after test, thickness was only film. Four weeks after test, film was discontinuous. Six weeks after test oil had returned as expected since the source area was still in place.

Egg Harbor Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination of 6,500 square foot area, including under the residence. When the soil was mixed with clean water there was sufficient heating oil to show a sheen. Very tight soils beneath the cellar floor resisted injection of Molecular clean up  slurry so the installation was made by flooding the footing around the whole house. All soil samples were below NJDEP clean up standards at two weeks.

Piscataway Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination of residence near lake that had been undergoing pump & treat clean up for free product and contaminated groundwater. A pilot study had demonstrated the effectiveness of Nano-Ox in the Brunswick Shale. The rest of the property was remediated by injection under and around the numerous trees with no effect on the trees.  Results below NJDEP clean up standards 3 weeks after injection.

Marlboro Leaking Aboveground Storage Tank  caused heating oil contamination that reached and impacted groundwater, but did not impact neighbor. A series of shallow injections reduced the soil contamination to below standard in 4 weeks. Original impact to groundwater was product forming a continuous sheen when tested. Groundwater contamination was below clean up standards in 10 weeks. NFA issued.

Northfield Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination had spill cleaned up @ 10 week testing event. A single day was required to complete the project to NJDEP clean up standards .

Ringwood Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination of residence soil and groundwater. Tetrachloroethene in one Monitoring Well and Methylene Chloride in two Monitoring Wells we also detected, but were not thought to be from the oil spill.  All wells below standard in 30 days except one single compound that was 0.040 parts per billion over the standard. All were below by next test 60 days later.

Caldwell Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination remaining along side of and beneath the footing adjacent to the excavation for the leaking heating  oil tank removal. To insure no contamination remained beneath the residence, and to assist in treating the footing, three injections were made through the cellar floor, parallel to the rear wall. Two additional injection locations were chosen outside of the wall to treat a 10 foot depth of contaminated soil. Before Nano-Ox injections, soil was as high as 14,000 ppm. 30 days after treatment the highest soil concentration was 1,500, the groundwater samples were all in compliant with NJDEP requirements.

Gibbstown Leaking UST caused heating oil contamination spread beneath the residence and slightly beneath the neighbors yard. Remediation injection with Nano-Ox was completed in three days including seven points through the cellar floor. Soils were below standards in 13 weeks, Groundwater was below standards in 20 week. NFA issued in 22 months.

Pleasantville  Contamination from heating oil UST extended from 7.5 feet below grade to 26 feet below grade. Groundwater was not detected to 35 feet below grade so only the contaminated soil was to be treated to below 10,000 ppm TPH. Injections were performed from 6 feet below grade to 26 feet below grade, with 10 % Nano Peroxide to insure a complete flooding of the sandy soil was accomplished.   Analytical results @ 30 days showed only one sample @ 10,000 ppm. Analytical results @ 60 days show all results below Standard 10,000 DRO.

Margate Contamination from heating oil UST extended from 4 feet below grade to 7 feet below grade and under the neighbor’s Driveway. The initial treatment was directed just above the groundwater ~ 4’ through seven (7) injection points. A sheen of oil kept returning even after a 2nd injection round. There was no evidence of offsite contamination, nor a source on the property. During the installation of injection points, CRLLC evaluated the subsurface via hand auguring and found a 6” layer of meadow mat (which had not been previously identified), saturated with oil. The injections were conducted into this mat and reached standards 30 days later.
